Flavors Perfected by Patience.
TSUNAGARU MELON reaches its peak sweetness and aroma not immediately after harvest, but through the natural process of ripening. The ideal time to enjoy it is 7 to 10 days after harvest. Please store at room temperature for several days after delivery. Avoid consuming it right away.
Check for these two signs of perfect ripeness:
POINT 1: The stem has turned brown and dried out. POINT 2: The rind has taken on a pale, creamy yellow color across the surface.
Once you see these signs, the melon is fully ripe. The flesh will become soft and juicy, and the sweetness will be at its peak. Enjoy the exceptional flavor of TSUNAGARU MELON at its very best.
*For the best experience, chill the melon in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours before serving.
